Sourcing with Purpose

We start by seeking out the highest quality coffees from farmers who share our values—those who prioritize sustainability, community well-being, and the craft of exceptional coffee cultivation. Our beans are ethically sourced, ensuring that every cup supports not only the drinker but also the hands that grew it.

  • Women-Owned & Direct Trade Relationships – Our Double Washed Ethiopian coffee comes from a women-owned cooperative, supporting empowerment and economic growth. Meanwhile, our Kenyan varieties are sourced through a direct trade relationship with a family farm, allowing us to help increase farmers’ earnings by 35%.
  • Unique & Rare Micro-Lots – We carefully curate specialty micro-lots for those who appreciate complex, refined flavors, seeking out rare coffees that tell a story through their taste.

Once our green coffee arrives at our roastery in Lombard, IL, or our commercial kitchen in Elmhurst, we carefully develop the perfect roast profile to highlight its best flavors.

By considering a bean’s density, elevation, and processing method, we roast manually—guided by sight, smell, and taste—to bring out the most nuanced flavors. Every batch is cupped with intention, ensuring that what reaches your mug is a reflection of craftsmanship, care, and presence.
