Our Lombard Community
Coffee Rooted in Connection
Spiritus Coffee exists because of Lombard. This is where we roast, where we started, where we belong. The businesses, organizations, and people of this community aren't just neighbors—they're collaborators, supporters, and friends.
This page celebrates the local partners who make Lombard special, and who make Spiritus possible.
Where to Find Spiritus Coffee
You can find our coffee at these local establishments:
Soapy Roads & The Makery Bar
Lombard — Creative workshop space and handmade goods. They serve Spiritus coffee during events and workshops. A perfect pairing: handmade soap, DIY crafts, and fresh roasted coffee.
Prairie Food Co-op
Lombard — Community-owned grocery focused on local and sustainable food. They carry Spiritus on their shelves. Supporting them supports the local food movement.
Righteous Kitchen
Local Restaurant — Serving Spiritus coffee to complement their menu. Good food deserves good coffee.
Unmasked Coven
Local Business — Another local partner carrying Spiritus. Community supporting community.
Retro Glow Bikes
Bike Shop — Bikes and coffee: two things that make mornings better. Find Spiritus here.
Ace Hardware Lombard
Lombard — Your local hardware store, also carrying local coffee. Because community hardware stores do more than sell tools—they support neighbors.
Community Organizations
We're proud members and supporters of these organizations:
Lombard Chamber of Commerce
Connecting Lombard businesses, advocating for local commerce, building community. We're active members because local business thrives when we work together.
Lombard Historical Society
Preserving Lombard's history, including the story of Lilacia Park—the inspiration for our Lilacia Blend. Understanding where we come from helps us appreciate where we are.
JL Vintage
Friends and supporters of Spiritus. Not a retail partner, but part of our community network. Local businesses supporting each other.
The S.E.A.L. Partnership
Our most meaningful community connection is with the S.E.A.L. Adult Transition Program.
S.E.A.L. students—young adults with disabilities—run our fulfillment operations. They pack orders, manage inventory, handle shipping. Real work, real skills, real employment experience.
By the numbers:
- 12 student interns through the program
- 2 interns hired as full Spiritus employees
- 1,000+ orders fulfilled by S.E.A.L. students
When you order from Spiritus, your coffee is packed by someone building their future. That's community in action.

Our wholesale program includes fresh-roasted coffee on your schedule, marketing support, and a genuine partnership—not just a vendor relationship.
Why Local Matters
Every dollar spent at a local business circulates differently than money spent at a chain.
Local businesses:
- Employ neighbors
- Pay local taxes
- Support local causes
- Create community character
- Keep profits in the area
When you buy Spiritus, you're supporting us—but you're also supporting the S.E.A.L. program, DuPage County jobs, and the Lombard economy.
When you buy from our partners, the same multiplier effect applies.
Local matters. Community compounds.
