Spiritus Coffee Co. was founded by two individuals in long-term recovery, with over 30 years of combined sobriety. Coffee, for us, is more than a drink—it’s a bridge to connection, a moment of mindfulness, and a symbol of resilience.
Our pasts were shaped by struggle. Before sobriety, our lives included hospitals, jails, homelessness, and the heartbreak of losing loved ones. Both of us faced near-fatal overdoses—moments that became turning points. With help, hope, and unwavering determination, we rebuilt our lives.
Today, we are parents, partners, and grateful individuals with a renewed sense of purpose. Spiritus Coffee Co. was created to share the belief that every cup of coffee can inspire mindfulness, foster connection, and create moments of peace in a chaotic world.
